Hi, I’m Leah. I’ve lived in Cumbria all my life, and while I’m only 22, people often say I carry myself like someone much older—maybe it’s the way I see the world, or just the quiet confidence I’ve grown into over the years. I’m the eldest of four, with three siblings who keep life interesting and full of laughter. Family means everything to me, and they’ve shaped so much of who I am.
Creativity Is My Core
Art is my escape and my passion. I love drawing and painting—there’s something magical about turning a blank page into something that speaks. I dream of being recognised for my illustrations one day, not just as a hobbyist but as someone whose work leaves a mark.
When I’m not sketching, you’ll probably find me reading, paddleboarding on a calm lake, or playing tennis. I love staying active, especially when it’s something that clears my mind and lifts my spirit.
Wanderlust & Wonder
My favourite thing in the world is going on holiday. There’s nothing like exploring new places, soaking in different cultures, and feeling that sense of freedom. The Seychelles was the most unforgettable trip I’ve ever taken—pure paradise. I still think about it all the time.
My Double Life
I’m a dental nurse 9–5, and a guest illustrator 5–9 and on weekends. I’m working toward studying dentistry at university, while building a business that brings joy to people on their big day. I’m passionate about both—creating smiles in clinic and through art.
My Creative Path
Inspiration
My inspiration for creating live guest illustrations stems from my lifelong love for art and the joy I find in celebrating love through weddings. Growing up, I was always captivated by the magic of special moments, and I realized that I wanted to capture that essence in a unique way. Combining my passion for creativity with the beauty of weddings allows me to create lasting memories for couples and their guests. It’s incredibly fulfilling to turn heartfelt moments into personalized artwork that can be cherished forever!
Experience
I have experience in live drawing and have spent years creating custom illustrations for various occasions, including engagements, weddings, and birthdays. I continue creating custom illustrations which can be digital prints or hand drawn watercolour. My focuses on capturing special moments and creating meaningful gifts for loved ones. look forward to continuing to develop myself in this area.
